Time for another movie review. Today’s pick is the 2006 Oliver Stone film “World Trade Center”.
Although when it was released it sounded like it could be controversial, this film was carefully directed. Nicholas Cage is amazing in this story of survival.
World Trade Center for me brought back the feelings of patriotism and unity our country felt after the September 11th attacks. Just over two hours, this movie helps remember those who were taken that day.
The movie’s story line revolves around two men stuck beneath the rubble. It shows their fight for survival and miraculous rescue. Based on a true story, World Trade Center is a real tear jerker.
If you’re looking for a serious movie to watch and have the time, World Trade Center is a must.

Just about everyone was blown away with the 1995 release of toy story. It was a new concept with an amazing storyline! People everywhere became quickly attached to Woody and Buzz. It was a well done, well selling movie.
It’s follow up “Toy Story 2″ was nothing less than expected either. Again, both kids and adults everywhere were thrilled with it’s release. It was funny and intense.
The questions in everyone’s mind is . . . could there really be a Toy Story 3?
The answer is yes! There can and will be a Toy Story 3. Pixar has set to release it in 2010. But will it really measure up to the first two? The bar has been set pretty high. With a new director this time around, it seems like a pretty big gamble. But let’s also keep in mind that 100% of Pixar’s movies have been excellent.
Needless to say, the anticipation will be great and expectations high. Keep an eye out, cause Toy Story 3 is on the way!

Today’s overview will be on “Amadeus”. This 1984 winners of 8 Oscars outlines the life of music genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. From his youth to his death, Mozart is seen from the point of view of his colleague yet competition Antonio Salieri. In his rage of musical inferiority Salieri becomes jealous of Mozart and begins to think of a way to become a more successful composer than Mozart himself.
One of the best dramas of all time, the original version of Amadeus is rated “PG”. The director’s cut however was rated “R” for a scene of added sexuality.
Amadeus is a brilliant movie, full of passion, comedy, and drama. Definitely a must see!
